Here are a few basic "need to knows" that I would have put together to be

ready for the launch.

1) PRELOAD THE GAME!!!

2) Class/Advanced Class you are going to play.

3) Professions you are going to choose.

4) Leveling Spec you are going to use.

5) Are you going Light or Dark side with your Points.

6) Types of gear and stats you are looking for yourself and your companions.

7) Where known datacrons are located to min/max your character.

Today I am going to be going over the Sith Warrior Marauder. This will be the class that I will be playing on launch of SWTOR and wanted to go through and combine most of the knowledge that I have gained into one easy to find place for everyone. So here goes.

Spec:

A lot of talk back and forth about how to spec the Marauder. When its all said and done it basically comes down to what do you plan to do? Level/Grind, PvE, or PvP. So lets just go over them one at a time.

• Level/Grind: Spec – Carnage

The Carnage tree is ultimately going to be your best tree to go down while leveling. It specifically deals with doing the most amount of damage in the shortest amount of time which is exactly what you want while you are leveling. Mobs will not live long enough to constitute it being viable to spec down the Annihilation tree.

• PvE/Raid: Spec – Annihilation

The Annihilation tree will be the best tree to go down when dealing raid dps on bosses with MAX health. This tree gives you a great bonus to bleed damage which ignors the armor of the boss which in theory will cause more damage to the boss than straight dps. Oh course these numbers are based off the beta prior to the release.

• PvP: Spec – Carnage

I chose to go down the Carnage tree due to the fact it had the greatest mixture of straight fast dps and defensive abilities to help you survive. This spec is still greatly in flux as I will no know for sure how the different skills such as Massacre will hold up in pvp. All we can do is wait and see, but this is at least a start.

We will be setting our focus to StarWars The old Republic once it comes out in Dec 20th. We will also be opening up or recruitment to anyone that wants to raid with the starters of iTG. Really Quick though if you sound like you wet your bed when you talk, or if you breath like you just ran 7 miles but you really tired from reaching the bag of chips that fell on the floor next to you. You Are the guy we want! Gives us shit to make fun of when we are trying to kill a Raid Boss and make our simple lives look better than they are.
